About Me

Hello, my name is Emily Frazer-Abel! I was born in China and raised in Denver, Colorado. I am graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Psychology, Education Studies, and International Relations. I recently finished working with the nonprofit, the Family Equality Council as a Family Week Coordinator in Provincetown, Massachusetts and am soon moving to Durham, North Carolina to begin research in Misophonia and Emotional Regulation at Duke University!
I've been taking photos ever since I can remember and finally began to pursue photography as more than just a hobby. I got my first DSLR camera in the fall of 2014 for my birthday. Since then, my camera has traveled all over the country and the world helping me capture the moments and memories of my travel and experiences. I specialize in portraits, landscapes, nature & wildlife, travel photography, and photojournalism.
Outside of photography, I was a varsity rower at Wesleyan, love swing dancing, playing and listening to music, traveling, standup paddle boarding, rafting, and hiking. Not to mention spending time with my family and our two lovely dogs!
